Kim from Just Like You, Aotearoa - struggling with what to wear?

Struggling with wardrobe overwhelm? Learn how understanding your colours, shape and style can transform how you feel in what you wear.

For most of my life, I struggled with wardrobe confusion and being overweight. Having recently released over 20kgs, I understand just how much our bodies can change — and how hard we can be on ourselves during those transitions.

I was never taught about colours, body shapes, or personal style. Like many women, I thought I was just supposed to know. So I made countless expensive shopping mistakes — buying clothes that didn’t suit my colouring, my personality, or my body, and then feeling guilty when they sat unworn.

The truth is, most of us only wear a small portion of our wardrobes. Not because we don’t have enough clothes, but because we don’t understand why some pieces work and others don’t.

So we end up stuck — with wardrobes full of clothes and nothing to wear — reaching for the same safe outfits again and again.

But I also discovered something incredibly powerful.

When you wear clothes that truly work for you, everything changes.

Getting dressed shifts from a daily frustration to something that feels easy — even enjoyable. Shopping becomes more intentional. And most importantly, your confidence grows.

That’s why I’m so passionate about this work.

I help women learn what most of us were never taught — so you can avoid the same costly mistakes, feel confident in your choices, and finally understand what works for your unique colours, shape, and style.
